A shiver ran through me as I turned to face Keri. I couldn’t believe she would fight dirty like that, but at the same time all through the end of that fight I’d found myself hoping she would continue to fight dirty. I found myself wishing she would keep right on pressing up against me and driving me wild.

I hated that I was getting so excited by it, but it had been awhile and she was so damn hot. It was already hard enough for me to think straight when I saw her around campus where I definitely knew she was off limits.

It even more difficult off campus where no one knew who the hell she was or that I could be getting in a hell of a lot of trouble for even hanging out with her.

Hell, everyone in this room could get in a hell of a lot of trouble for hanging out with her. Which was one of many reasons why I was keeping my fucking mouth shut.

“So what do you say?” she asked. “I think I won that match fair and square.”

“The lady has a point,” David said. “I think it’s only fair that she get to collect her winnings.”

I could feel all the other eyes in the room on me and I hated it. It reminded me of a couple of other parties I’d been to when I was younger. Parties where guys had tried to encourage girls to make out because it was “so hot.” Parties where I’d felt like I was being objectified and my sexuality was being sacrificed on the altar of getting straight guys off.

I didn’t like it then and I certainly didn’t like it now. I liked all these guys and I considered them friends, but if they thought I was going to make out with another girl while they watched so they could all get their rocks off later thinking about it then they had another fucking thing coming.

“I think we need to get out of here,” I said.

Keri’s face split into a grin and I blushed as I realized exactly how that must have sounded. Judging from the way the guys erupted into triumphant whoops they had a pretty good idea of what they thought that meant as well.

That’s not what it meant. Not really. I wasn’t interested in giving them a show. That was all. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to kiss this girl, though every part of my body was screaming at me that I should just go for this already and fuck the consequences.

The only problem was the consequences were pretty fucking heavy. I looked down and saw that I’d managed to put away two beers while I was in here playing. At least I could blame my loss on that and not on the fact that she was really better than me.

I could also blame what I was considering now on those beers. I wouldn’t have dreamed of going anywhere with Keri without a little bit of liquid courage.
